Things to Know About Aruba
Only in Aruba can you view a rugged coast pounded by crashing waves, relax on a beach so calm it's nicknamed "Baby Beach," photograph pastel-painted Dutch houses and enjoy the action of a glittering modern casino - all in one day. Aruba's culture is almost as varied as its charms. A member of the Kingdom of the Netherlands just off the coast of Venezuela, Aruba is a Caribbean destination with international flair. Watersports enthusiasts will enjoy windsurfing or sailing along with the famous tradewinds, plus snorkeling and diving - the visibility is outstanding. On land, the beaches beckon sunseekers, the Tierra Del Sol course challenges golfers and sights like the old stone California Light House entice visitors to explore the inner reaches of the island.
